I had to buy a car recently and I hadn’t dreaded anything more since the 2016 election.
I did a year in the car sales business a few years back. It felt like doing 5 years at Lou Sterrit. I’ve never seen a sadder set of salesmen in my entire life. These were exceptional salesmen (I was the only saleswoman at the time) They hated their jobs. They chain smoked cigarettes. The pounded Red Bull like maniacs.
The customers were no happier.
The second they arrived on the lot it was our job to “greet them” and by “greet” I mean ignore their every wish with the sole purpose of getting them IN the office to give us the opportunity to get all their personal info and ideally get them to fill out a credit app, all this before even glancing at our inventory.
Let me just say that if I had the money to spend on a $20000 car I would not want to have it be a bad experience. Buying a car is probably one of the most expensive and largest purchases you’ll ever make, you should be having a ton of fun laying down that kind of dough.
So when from Dallas lease returns reached out to me and asked me to come in and give an honest review of his facility I was more than anxious to check it out. It truly was a wonderful experience. All of the cars are kept indoors in a warehouse which keeps you nice and toasty in the Winter and away from the harsh Sun in the summer. You literally can just walk in and look at cars and not talk to anybody unless you want to. All of the doors are unlocked so you can get in look around and check out features. They even have a mobile app where you can finance the car right from the lot. Without even stepping into a salesman’s office.
For any of you who have ever spent 8 hours in “The Box” you know what I’m talking about.
Their selection of vehicles was very wide with plenty of as UV’s sports cars in sedans many different price points to choose from. While I did end up purchasing a vehicle off of craigslist because you know that’s how I roll lol, I did have an absolutely wonderful experience at Dallas lease returns. I recommend them highly and once I get the amount of stacks required I will be going back there to make my next vehicle purchase.
